The mission of Science Olympiad is: "To promote and improve student interest in science and to improve the quality of k-12 science education." Dr. Warren Young and his wife, Dr. Mary Young are the 2007 head coaches for the Westview High School Science Olympiad team. There are up to 90 student participants annually with about 20 parent coaches in approximately 23 events, all related to science and technology.
