The technologies developed by YTIG, specifically NeuroZoom and the expertise of its principal, Dr. Warren Young, lead to the formation of a biotech company in 2000 in La Jolla, CA. The company initially organized as a platform company, scaling the NeuroZoom technology to a level for broad partnerships with pharma partners. In 2003, Neurome transitioned to a drug discovery company with expertise in neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Huntington's.
