YTIG consults with 3D Vision Systems on research into technology for visualizing and displaying 3D stereoscopic images. A new surgical microscope workstation is being developed with Dr. Young as the lead technologist. This system will combine ergonomic advantages with intelligent image processing and intra-operative metrology to improve surgical outcomes and efficiency. The system offers many advantages over the conventional systems.

We are also designing tele-medicine/tele-ophthalmology systems to provide intelligent surgical assistance to surgeons and technicians in remote areas, both here and abroad. Aspects of this system will also be applied to military situations involving high-risk trauma situations in battlefield conditions.

YTIG is also partnering with 3D Vision Systems on specific NIH grants as it relates to their mission is and working with the company in seeking participants for the Series A investment round.
