Through its affiliations with Elsevier Scientific Publishers, the world's largest publisher of scientific journals, YTIG established an editorial office in San Diego to service the Brain Research journals from 1999 to 2002. The SmartWorks 2000 system was used with San Diego as the world-wide hub for all of the peer review processing of over 3000 manuscripts per year.
